Happy almost Thanksgiving!
It has been a year; there have been good things, bad things & many ups & downs. But at the end of the day we shouldn’t be thinking about what we lost or don’t have. It’s what we do have. If you ever think your life is bad, remember there are plenty of people who would trade places with you in a heart beat. I have decided to showcase some of the things I am most thankful for in black & white snap shots. Above, time spend at barrel races, I couldn’t have spent my weekend better.
Rumor, horses really have the ability to melt away all of your worries & stress.
I love this spoiled, moody & bratty dog. I babied her all her life, this is why she has so much attitude. Tara has such a personality & is like my child.
Summer practices at the arena with Tina. My sister is one of my best friends, she may be a little dramatic sometimes but I’m used to it by now.
The loss of Pirate, definitely one of the worst things that happened to me all year. But I’m thankful for our memories & want to say thank you again to everyone who gave their condolences, thoughts, prayers & said nice things about him, it helped. I think I was eleven in this photo.
You’ve gotta love horse show dogs. Tara couldn’t help but close her eyes, she learned that one from me.
I feel extremely thankful to such great friends, family, an amazing boyfriend, diva Tara & wonderful Rumor. Not to mention Cody & the other horses. I’m also thankful to have wonderful readers, the relationships I have made with people by having the blog. There are too many to name, but an individual thanks goes out to Kassie for always doing wonderful logo art for the Facebook page. A special thanks to everyone who has ever participated in a feature or giveaway.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, what are giving thanks for this year?
