How to Style: Glittery Gold Horseshoes

I find myself at an age & time when I am starting to want to spend more money on home decor than clothes. Of course I would rather have cowboy boots than furniture but that’s another story. Every day I’m bombarded with images on Pinterest & in magazines of “perfect homes” – I’m going to start using the blog to showcase some home decor of mine & yours (read the updated Contact & Submissions page to see how you can participate). And for those of you who love the blog the way it is, don’t worry the other content is still going to be there!

My obsession still lies with gold; gold DIY horse statues & now sparkly gold horseshoes. The horseshoes were an easy glittery DIY project. I recently picked up some new end tables from Ikea & did some new styling next to my bedside.

I also love the keep my jars of lotion & hair conditioner next to the bed; no labels please, I use old jars & spray painted the lids gold. My tray is an old frame with colored paper inserted inside.

No matter where you put them, they look great & will be statement & conversation pieces for sure. If you are interested in adding a sparkly horseshoe or two to you life you should try these.
